Missionaries

Prayer Requests:

• Spiritual direction training: Pray for discernment as we invite and select participants for the upcoming two-year journey in spiritual direction.
• Listening presence: Pray for the launch of our first course in spiritual direction beginning July 18th: Becoming a Listening Presence in Everyday Life…that God would use it to help participants listen deeply and discern their next faithful step in any life stage or scenario they are in.
• Soul health of leaders: Pray for several leaders we’re mentoring…that they would resist the pull of anxiety and chaos, and instead walk in peace, identity, and examples to those they serve.
• Family life: Pray for our college age kiddos.  Pray for us to stay rooted in joy and good connection as we navigate a full ministry season and keep cheering our kids’ on as they spread their wings.
• Church: Pray for continued depth, joy, and mutual care in our church community as we follow Jesus together; we’re in a season of stretching out and considering a way forward for a strong future.
• Discouragement and sometimes heartache
• Thankfulness: Feeling gratitude for the kindness, generosity, and partnership of our friends and faithful kingdom coworkers at Westport Road.

Prayer requests:

• Bryce’s partner is in the US for the next 3 months, please pray for a manageable schedule and productive operating time to help many patients.
• Mary Beth is training the librarians at the church on how to check out books and use the computer to keep records. She is also starting the weekly preschool read aloud sessions on Fridays, please pray for good attendance from members of the community.
• One of our children was recently diagnosed with asthma and has been having some breathing troubles since we returned to a very moldy house in Kenya. Please pray that we can find the right combination of medications and air filters to keep all our kids healthy and comfortable.

Nothing is greater than yur love, Lord.  With your love all things are possible.

• Prayers for safety for the people of Haiti.
• Prayers upon all our country so that peace may be established and we continue to work together for faith to become so strong day after day in Christian love.
• God is faithful and He has been providing and protecting our relatives and the Church. As always, we appreciate your prayers for the ministry in Haiti.
