He believes the church's purpose is to embody Christ — to reconcile humanity to God and each other, to reflect his personal purity and devotion to God, and to engage in his mission of proclaiming the Kingdom of God.

Arnis has been in full-time ministry since 1984, and came to Westport Road from Texas in July, 1997. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in biblical text and ministry from Abilene Christian University.

His wife, Connie, is our Children's Ministry leader. His son, Daniel, is working full-time and serving as an officer in the Army National Guard, and his daughter, Ann, is working and attending college.
